Hello students,
Welcome to "Our Class Book Club"! Throughout the school year we will be reading a lot of different books. Our goal this school year is not only to read books, but to also to learn how to have meaningful discussions about the books we are reading. In order to accomplish our goal I've created the "Our Class Book Club" blog. During the morning literacy block I will select a class "blogger", and that person will work with me to develop a blog about the book they are reading. Everyone will have a chance to share, so be prepared with a good book! Finally, at the end of the week we will have an opportunity to look at the blogs for that week, and talk about books we might want to check out.
These are the questions we will be answering about our book:
1. What is the title of the book? Who is the author?
2. What is the story about?
3. Why do you think the author wrote the book?
4. What was the main idea/theme?
5. How many stars would you give the book? Why?
